Founded in 1824, The National Gallery is situated in London’s Trafalgar Square and counts some of the world’s best-loved paintings among its 2,300-strong collection
In August 2018, Analytics Engines was appointed as partner to develop a data solution for the Gallery. ‘Perspective’ is an analytics solution which allows stakeholders to make data-driven strategic decisions by harnessing and examining data from a disparate range of sources.
Since the roll-out, some of the key benefits to The Gallery have included:
– greater transparency, communication and teamwork
– improved decision-making processes
– operational efficiencies and optimisation of workflows
– augmented visitor experiences.
Senior Manager Data & Insights at The National Gallery Casey Scott-Songin said: “Right across the organisation there’s a sense of trust in the data. Everyone is unified around a single source of truth and using the data to make better decisions.”
