Exploring the positive impact of data at Big Data Belfast 2022

Since its inception, Big Data Belfast has been a showcase for the positive impact of data. As the adoption of data-driven technologies continues to grow, the event is the ideal opportunity for business and technology professionals to learn from and network with thought leaders about the transformative impact of data.

In our own work at Analytics Engines, we’ve seen time and time again, the positive impact that data can have, not only for an organisation but also for the broader public. Whether it’s supporting the delivery of precision medicine or improving the efficiency of public sector service delivery, the positive impact of data cannot be understated.

In the private sector, we’ve seen a growing demand for data-driven solutions within the legal and accountancy sector. In particular, organisations are keen to improve the quality of their data, break down data silos, and to transform their data into an asset, capable of driving their business forward.

In their 2021 CPO Survey, Deloitte found that data quality was the biggest challenge organisations faced with regards to adopting digital technology; going on to state that “Increasing the number of analytic engines consuming bad “fuel” just creates more waste and polluted processes…”.

Data also has the potential to provide solutions and insights into tomorrow’s challenges. Already, data is being used to deliver more sustainable trade and promote greater social governance and responsibility.

We’re very excited to be discussing these topics and much, much more at this year’s conference.
