Analytics Engines team up with Western HSC Trust for Clinical Pharmacy Congress!

Analytics Engines and Western Trust to present at Clinical Pharmacy Congress at the London ExCel 27th & 28th April 2018.
Analytics Engines and Western Health and Social Care Trust will team-up to present the PRECISION for Pharmacy solution at this year’s Clinical Pharmacy Congress.
Brendan Moore, Clinical Pharmacy Development Lead at Western Trust, will describe how the Trust turned to Analytics Engines with the aim of enhancing patient care and supporting delivery of the Medicines Optimisation Quality Framework.
Together they created PRECISION for Pharmacy; a smart workflow management system for clinical pharmacy which will help the Trust achieve compliance with the Medicines Optimisation Quality Framework and for the first time, provide real-time analytics on pharmacy task activity. The result is a system that supports teamplay within the clinical pharmacy service and provides robust analytics to underscore the value of hospital pharmacy to patient safety.
Delegates attending the TECHNOLOGY FORUM Breakfast Seminar Fri 27th April 09am will get to hear from Brendan Moore about the challenges faced by Western Health and Social Care Trust in delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across the 400-bed Altnagelvin Hospital, whilst ensuring patient interaction, staff development and effective hospital-wide communication. The demands placed on hospital pharmacy are increasing as patients are older, more chronically ill and more pharmaceutically complex. With 15% of all readmissions due to incorrect medications, it’s more important than ever before to ensure the right pharmacist is available at the right time whenever needed.
Dr. Austin Tanney from Analytics Engines will then go on to describe how an advanced analytics company approached the challenge and engaged the pharmacy team at Altnagelvin to help describe what was needed from a system that would empower them to manage tasks in a way that helped achieve compliance with the Medicines Optimisation Quality Framework.
