Big Data Belfast 2022

Big Data Belfast returns to the ICC Belfast on Wednesday 25th May 2022. The conference is designed to be the ideal opportunity for both business and technology professionals to learn from and network with thought leaders about the transformative impact that data can have on their organisations.

Colin McFarland – Director of Experimentation Platform & Core Data Science & Engineering at Netflix
Colin is an experienced data and technology leader having held senior data and experimentation positions at Booking.com, The Very Group and Skyscanner. In his role at Netflix, Colin is responsible for leading teams working with data and experiments.

Daphne Cheung – Analytics Lead at Disney Streaming
Daphne Cheung is currently an Analytics Lead at Disney Streaming, understanding global audience engagement through data science, analytics, and storytelling. Her past experience includes developing business intelligence tools in the aviation industry and advancing entrepreneurial tech initiatives with the U.S. Embassy in Singapore and Hong Kong. Apart from her work at Disney, Daphne promotes data as a catalyst for change in diversity and inclusion programs in the U.S, most notably with the Women@Disney program and LA-based technology non-profit LA Tech4Good.

Stephen McKeown – Divisional Chief Information Officer at Allstate Northern Ireland
Stephen is an experienced senior executive with deep expertise in digital technology, data strategy and analytics. He has built and scaled companies and global teams leading transformational change initiatives across multiple industries, working with companies from the largest multinationals to niche specialists. He is an independent expert to the European Commission, the Innovation Fund Denmark, and the UK Technology Strategy Board. He is also an advisory panel member to the Northern Ireland Government on digital strategy.

Katie Cadge – Platform Lead for AI & Data Science at ASOS
Katie Cadge is an experienced, cross-skilled data engineer with practical, hands-on experience in building data science pipelines, business intelligence and database design, data analysis, big data engineering and software engineering. She has a proven track record in using reproducible processes to solve real business problems in the insurance, recruitment, finance, market research and retail industries.

Rebecca Harding – CEO at Coriolis Technologies
Rebecca is the CEO of Coriolis Technologies. Coriolis Technologies provide data and analytics to the Trade Finance sector. Rebecca has significant experience as an independent economist & as a professional speaker with a particular focus on big data management, FinTech, international economics & trade, finance, digitisation and sustainable trade, and geopolitical risk.
